A Teaching Clinically Integrated Network

02-07-2021 11:25

A clinically integrated network (CIN) of safety net clinics that are teaching sites for medical and other health professions was developed to create a platform student and resident education in community and population health through Quality Improvement projects and Interprofessional Care for underserved communities.  This platform became an incubator for interprofessional population health education, scholarly activity, networking with community stakeholders and grant based outreach for underserved populations. The resources provided show the structure and function of this CIN that can be replicated at other Academic health centers.
