This is the raw data from the 2021 post-Match survey of applicants to our residency program (EVMS Family Medicine), in the immediate aftermath of a merger of EVMS’ two previous standalone family medicine programs. The targeted respondents were applicants selected for interviewing and subsequently earning a spot on the program’s Rank Order List (ROL), but not matching with the program. We felt that this cohort was the highest yield group to survey with the least likelihood for bias, when compared to 1) matched applicants, and 2) applicants who were not selected for the ROL.
